Over 12 Years of Pastry Creations

Jessica Santos is a classically trained pastry chef who possesses a delightful original take on the world of cake-making. In 2007, she attended The French Culinary Institue, now known as International Culinary Center, in New York.

There, she quickly dove into the restaurant industry. Jessica worked as a pastry cook where she then began developing recipes of her own and gaining all the experience the industry had to offer.

New Jersey ​

Having roots in New Jersey, she knew it was time to find something closer to home. Over the next couple of years, Jessica’s next adventures entailed taking pastry assistant positions at bakeries; big and small, and at small cake boutiques. Lastly, landing a Pastry Chef Assistant position for a few months that quickly changed into being promoted to Pastry Chef. Although the title came with much responsibility, the part that made it all worth it, was the clients.

Building that repertoire with them, just imagine gender reveal cake, baby shower cake, baptism cake, first birthday cake to fifth birthday cake. It was amazing to see those families grow over the years.

After everything was said and done, Jessica decided it was time to build her own empire. This is where Jessica Sweets was born. As you browse through the images of her creations you begin to see she is indeed part baker, part artist—with an eye for attention to detail.
